So i just played the wanted:weapons of fate demo
and i have to say it was pretty fun
Now i know the movie didnt make sense,
well at least when you look at it with super nerd physicist thought,
But really what really good movie from the 80's actually used legit physics??
Anyway the game is a lot of fun its a straight forward third person shooter
You hide behind things and do stylish rolls and dives into and out of cover,
The best part is actually the thing that ruined the movie for most no-lifed nerds
When you kill dudes you fill your adrenaline meter,
this allows you to kill more dudes faster
and with way more style and explosion-y goodness
The bullet curving is quite useful,
but the game allows you to stay within Bill Nye physics
and with the meter being so small you can only do it a number of times,
unless you have a 100% hit ratio
Another thing thats cool is the slow time cover slide maneuver thingy
It looks awesome and you basically are sliding 3 feet for days
while picking off every dude in the goddamn state
Being able to kill dudes in multiple fashions is always been a thing of mine
and 'close combat' is quite awesome, except for the combat part
there is no actual fighting its just you running up and smashing the kill button
and then feel gratified by the rather cool cut-scene where the blade comes near the enemies cranium and it explodes with bit of skull getting on the screen
It runs quite smoothly the graphics are quite pleasant
and the controls are standard shooter plus the bullet curving antics
This is aside from the story which the xbox demo did not give me any part of
or if they did i didnt care because i wanted to CURVE DA BULLET
